    Greetings!

Being new to the UK – I have noticed design concept’s and image are things that vary greatly from land to land. From logo design to corporate branding – tastes between North America and the UK are subtle but noticeable… and more so as you venture onto the continent.

We recently did a re-brand for a small construction firm – the owner had strong views which greatly influenced the design. However, I thought I would pass along a picture of 1 of the wraps to see what you thought as I was happy with it…

Anything you would change or recommend?

Anything striking as to design or concept – red flags from a UK/ Continental etc perspective?

    Facts re: Wrap:
    – VW Caddy – in good repair – paint was decent
    – Grafityp – vinyl and laminate – the appropriate cast of course – non air flow
    – Full wrap – including roof – original van was silver/ grey – before and after on www
    – 1 day – 2 men. to do the wrap despite a little issue with 1 handle….
    – Cut lettering overlaid

    I like it Jarret!

Only thing I’d change is maybe make the tel numbers on the doors smaller and the text on the side running level with the top of the front doors!

Was the problem with the door handle the side door handle?

Looks very nice. A good Euro style aswell, can’t stand the garish stuff they do in the US.

Thought that as well – we wanted the information there to really stand out as the impression duration for a passing vehicle is quite limited….

Re: text – always a bit of a test – with the body lines, ledges, rubbing strips and graphics all at different angles…. we had it positioned so many ways in the end we had the client sign off and were left with a "visually coherent" result.

I will take that on board for the next ones!

    Cheers Matty!

The passenger side door handle – there is a little cable with quite a few notches that attaches to a mechanism on the handle itself. We had it installed correctly but were off by about 2 notches – maybe 1/2 a mill – it wouldn’t unlatch the door once closed… lesson learnt for next time. I am sure I am not the only one – hoping anyway!

Ive seen this happen before. once we reattach the handle flick the door catch with screwdriver etc. before closing the door. to check it works! A nightmare once the door is shut!

I like it, and should imagine it actually looks a lot better in the flesh where all the detail is going to be more visible.

    Appreciate that!

The detail was quite intricate and a bit of a pain with the globe – curved lines to match without too much distortion – hard to see in this picture but they’re a few more pics on the website if you’re bothered.

Like I said – I was quite happy with it – glad to see it stands up to some critique this side of the pond.

    Cheers all!
