I think if Phill posts his response here it will look something like this;
(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)(oh I’m a bad boy)

I told him that to save time he was best to remove all of the old stickers himself, measure the size of the panel and phone me back with dimensions and a brief description of what was to go on the sign – I would then be able to quote him a price over the phone.
(And thats’ the truth Warren 😀 )

I had a delivery the other day. The delivery guy was in my garage with me when my phone rang. I didn’t answer the call as I was writing a check. In about 5 minutes, I checked my voice mail. It was a kid wanting a windshield banner (a sticker) so I called him back. A total of 7 minutes must have passed from his initial phone call.
He said "I couldn’t wait that long so I had it done elsewhere".
I laughed and said that I was too busy with a rush job to help him just then.
I wanted to tell him "Good! I hate making those anyway!".
😉
Little bastard.

i think thats the best reply you could have given…
i hate removing vinyl simply because folk do not appreciate the problems that can arrise from doing a sort of simple enough job. if they are penny pinching from the start, telling them to use a hair dryer and some white spirits to remove the glue will make them think they have won a watch and will probably get you to do the garphics anyway…anyway… hate these type of folk calling too… ive no time for them but hey-ho they AREanother customer at the end of the day….

don’t ya just love ’em.
Had a guy call around and ask me to sign his car. I measured it up, discussed his ideas, and told him I’d do a design for his approval, then we’d get the job done. I said I’d see him later, then went inside.
I went out to the parking area outside my shed about 20 minutes later to get something out of my van, and he was still there standing by his car.
I said ‘did you forget something?’
he said ‘no, I’m waiting for you to sign my car’
😮 I laughed (he didn’t) and told him I couldn’t do it then and there, as the artwork would take some time, and I had other work booked in for the day..
He was really disappointed. I haven’t heard from him since 🙂

They think you have the graphics ready on the shelf. Numbnuts! 😉
I had a client about 2 years ago that noticed I was in the shop at 2am working. He asked for a price….I quoted…..Got the job….Great! Told him I’d call him in a couple of days regarding the artwork. Next day at 2am I was in bed fast on when I got a call on my mobile. The idiot was asking where I was, accused me of taking his deposit then not turning up to work and did I really want the job! My reply…..Well I think Warren nailed that one. 👿
