    Hi everyone.
I have a Roland Versacam SP 300V, Versaworks and Signlab 8 Print and cut.
Obviously I use Signlab for all the cutting jobs. I print to Versaworks for printing and laminating as Signlab colour for me is rubbish.
Anyway the question is in Signlab when I cut a 2 meter length on the X axis
2000 mm becomes 2006 mm. I can change this in Signlab quite easily. Or change it on the cutter by adjusting the percentage through the menu.
Which way would you recommend doing this in the software or in the cutter/printer.
I don’t send cutter pressure/ speed temp etc to the plotter as Signlab used to always set it the pressure at 50 and after getting caught out a few times cutting laminated prints don’t send it any more.
The cutter also has settings for cutting prior in the menu and these are command (from software) can’t remember the one for from the printer itself.
Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

    Hi Gordon,

sounds like a feed calibration problem to me, different media thicknesses require different feed settings. here is a link to set up the FC for different media on a Roland printer.

    Hope this helps,

    Thanks,
    Lee.
