    Hi I have recently upgraded to x5 and seem to be having problems with exporting eps files

    A supplier who works with my eps files can no longer read them and the files themselves are much much larger say 85kb for x4 and 8mb for x5

    I have set all the settings the same between the two but still no difference

    Can anyone advise?

    Thanks

    Colin

    Install the Hotfix4 patch

    to see if fixes the problem – make sure SP 3 is installed first tho.

    Exporting any of the postscript formats are always gonna give you some difficulties, i always stuck with PDF.

    Interesting about the HotFixes, this has now annoyed me. I am well aware of the JPEG issues that is on that page but why an earth didn’t it Update automatically, why are they HotFixing! Corel you have this time failed to release this as a quick update.

    Hot Fix 4 will update the latest release of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5 (15.2.0.686). The build number after the hot fix is applied will be 15.2.0.695. The following fix is included in the update;

    JPG, PNG, GIF, and JPEG2000 files will export consistently
    The Outline Width control on the property bar will accept custom values
