X3 upgrade problem
OK I am a tight wad and upgraded to X3 via fleabay bargain.
Now my problem is this….
When I go to print via ColoRip to my Versacamm sp300 I convert my artwork to a bitmap (usually 25% or 50% of size) then export as an EPS file to ColoRip. My prints are usually pin sharp but now it is printing all sawtooth edges and looks like all my competitors jobs ( 🙄 ) I have gone through all the settings on Corel but just cant seem to find the right combination.
Has anyone got any idea where to start looking. 🙁 -

When you convert to bitmap ensure the resolution is set correctly (I’m sure you are anyway). It sounds like the rip is only seeing the low resolution header and not processing the eps – do you include the header with the file it may bloat if you do. Is your version of X3 a student version or the full package. If you mail me I can send you an eps from my system to see if it makes any difference.
