Wrapping over Vivaro panel seal
Anyone have any tips for wrapping over raised seal between panels on Vivaro/Traffic van. If I’m joining my panels at the seal I always find it a struggle working best way to overlap panels and getting over seal with out bridging especially where you come in and out of the recess top and bottom where its very hard to feed the panel unto and over the seal. On a transit etc you can just cut away leaving a black line that looks just like the side with the sliding door but doesn’t work with white seal like this.
I have been installing rear panel up to and over seal, then picking up edge of panel and working in vinyl unto seal and then over it as best I can without bridging then cutting off on far side, then reverse operation with middle panel coming back over seal and cutting on first panel side. Its ok but as I said gets messy where recess come in and out as just can’t get enough slack to work in and out with out bridging.
Apologies for long winded explanation, any tips appreciated.
