  • Wrapping over rubber seals on vans

    Hi All

What is the common or best practice for wrapping over the rubber seals on van panels? Obviously the vinyl does not stick to it so what do you do to avoid future problems with moisture getting in through these areas and lifting the vinyl?

    cheers

I always cut the vinyl away when it runs over rubber seams. I don’t know if this is best practice – but it is what I do.

If in doubt – cut it out. 😀

Seriously, it isn’t going to stick, and will look unsightly, so don’t give it the chance.

I also trim where the rubber is.
