we have a new kangoo maxi to wrap in single colour. I’m wondering what the experts would recommend for material. I know the likes of 3M 85 series isn’t ideal for deep recesses, but the standard new shape kangoo has fairly shallow recesses. I’ve not actually seen the maxi yet in the flesh so any advice on material choice would be much appreciated.

    Cheers,

your right on it being for cars mate… i would maybe call wm smiths and ask what they think. i might have the wrong van in mind but i tend to agree with you on the recesses not being sharp or severe.
i would recommend using a temp gauge and the small wrapping wheel to firmly secure & cure the recesses. again, smiths will keep you right on this.

Cheers Rob, I’ll give smiths a phone today, was going to have a look at the vehicle and decide on the wheel, going to get them both at some point but unsure if this vehicle needs them at all.

Just phoned smiths, 85 series is there only option for solid colour wrap vinyl. This would actually suit me as the rolls are 1520mm wide.

Anyone seen one of these vans or have an opinion about using this material on it?

    Cheers,
