    Hi All,
Just been out to amend a telephone number on an old sign, sun is bleaching down. The job only took 5 minutes to do but I wish it could’ve been longer.

Fishing tomorrow, Sunday, bet it pi$$es down.

    Have a nice weekend everybody

    Cheers John

    Hi All,
Won’t be seing much of Monday as I’m working the Bank Holiday. 🙁 It’s great to have the work so I shouldn’t grumble. Looking forward to Sunday fishing for the 1st day off in about 5 weeks.

Shane, my parents were on holiday in Queensland in November, came back full of it and had a fantastic holiday. Loved the place, loved the people.

    I’d love to go there when I retire, a millionaire. :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:

    Cheers John

Our weather is insane this week.
Monday and Tuesday it was nearly 80. The grass greened up, and leaf buds seemed to sprout overnight on the trees.
By Wednesday it snowed, and the high will only be 30 today, with plenty more snow.
All the daffodils that bloomed are frozen.
We are having our Christmas weather on Easter!
    Love….Jill

ended in a nice meal and a few beers at Frankie and Bennie’s at the shopping mall… the beer helped numb the experience :lol1: :lol1:
did my usual top-up fix of magazines at borders, seeing as i now have a mac computer i have realised my fix has gotten that bit more expensive. 😕 🙄

Enjoyed that Marcella.. I could imagine my Rhodesian Ridgeback X having a go on that trampoline too. She thinks our bed is a trampoline most evenings unfortunately. When she finishes ‘playing’ we have to remake the bed 😕

Not sure I want to know about the Blackpool experience…. I’m way too pure I think 😳

    Hi All,
Hope you all had a good one. Went fishing on Sunday with the Brother in Law. It was on an old filled quarry on his land at Lowick up the A1 near Haggistan. He’s opened it as a coarse fishery and stocked it with Carp, bream and Roach and other fish from his fathers pond.

    http://www.noc.ind.freeuk.com

Had a bit of a shock when I caught a good size Golden Orf – never caught one of them before. Bought a cheapo rod from netto’s for the kids to play with, I broke it within 5 mins so the kids weren’t very happy.

Anyway, weather was fine, recharged my batteries and back at work now. ISNT LIFE BRILLIANT. 😀

I went to RAF Cosford yesterday. Their museum is fantastic and a great day out for the boys. Their new building is very impressive and I was surprised to see an example of each of the three V bombers in there, along with a lot of other smaller planes. We followed that up with a run down the Ironbridge Gorge, on to Kidderminster, and back home around the bottom of Birmingham.

A total of 198 miles riding in the sunshine. Excellent. 😀

So, back to work today, and I don’t mind telling you that I really don’t want to go.

Never mind, only a three day week because I’ve got a ferry booked from Dover for Friday morning. I wonder where I’ll get too. 😀
