HI Guys,
Hugh , If where you are buying it from is saying its suitable from banners they are mis-leading you , 451 series is the banner grade product.
If you use 651 and roll the banner up then un-roll it there is every chance you will get “fluting” where the vinyl has stretched and wont shrink back , good if its on a vehicle but not on a banner.Hope that helps

really ? had no troubls or comebacks with the few banners i have done 😮

Same here.
I have polybanners 5 years old with 651 on them for our soccer team.
Every year I have to do date changes on the damn things.
I keep hoping they’ll fail because I am sick of them!
I always tell the folks to roll the banners graphics-side out.
They have come back folded, crumpled, rolled backwards.
Still the vinyl sticks.
These are up for about 6 weeks at a time, then taken down and stored God knows where for almost a year.
Aren’t banners for short-term usage anyway?

Hi Hugh/Gill,
Glad you haven’t had any problems with 651 but 451 is not much more expensive and will stretch and shrink with the PVC banner once its applied properly. Its just a recommendation.
All the best
