Posted by David Rowland on August 1, 2006 at 1:09 pmSorry, due to legal reasons, I had to remove this job that was posted in a private area of UKSB, which seems to be public now

So that’s what happened, one of your bolts was loose, moving on the cladding which caused a spark, the rest is history :lol1:
Sign looks brilliant Dave, nice job, I was looking at the first pic saying no way is that 3D text 😳

Repeat Work 😀 😀 😀
Don’t forget Dave, it’s a ruddy insurance company that will be paying for the replacement 😀

Dave, I’d agree with you about the first one being flat (white Background black text) – 3rd picture is on a Black background with built ups –
It’s a real shame when you see your work go up in flames but you’d probably find that any of the trade mags would love to run with an unusual story like this – and it would get your company some good publicity as well…+ like Dave Lowery has said you’re in with a great shout for the re-make.

Repeat Work, don’t think there will be any as they had finished filming, hadn’t they?

Sorry to hear that mate.
Sign look(ed) good tho. I’d be surprised if they don’t redo it, the Insurance co would probably be obligated to make it the same as pre fire.
If they only had it done a few weeks ago anyway, I’d suggest they had something else in mind? Tourism opportunity perhaps.
Congrats to the team tho Dve. How much did it weigh?
