  • Wood effect composite / dibond material ? Where to get it ??

Posted by Joe McNamara on January 24, 2008 at 8:57 pm

    Hi all,
Seen this on smart groups website and wondered if anyone knows where to get it?
I have a folded tray to do in dark brown, but the customer would be over the moon if we could do it in mahogany effect composite.

PS if no one knows where to get the mahogany dibond, does anyone do a dark brown one?

    Cheers
    Joe

Avery has some woodgrain vinyls. Maybe you could wrap in with that first.

    Thanks for the info guys.
I see that reynobond/alcoa make it – now just need to find out who sells it….
Where’s Craig Brown when you need him ! :lol1: :lol1:

PS Vinyl covering is a no go – it’s for a folded sign tray with fret cut acrylic letters.

Joe I know the guys at SMP sell the wood finish composites, as they sent me a sample, I also believe NEPlastics (http://www.neplastics.co.uk/ )sell alcoa composite board.
