Does this come anywhere near the mark mate?
This is my first attempt at posting a document and vectoring one.
    Regards

don’t be embarrased mate, I know a few australians that would not be able to describe a wombat either.

Little runty animal. Short legs, thick hide, slow mover ( the wife reckons I have just described myself!!)

If you run over them in your car, they have been known to rip the sump clean off a motor. Does not do the wombat much good either 🙄

Really hard to find a drawing of one unfortunately

Once again thanks for your help

Thanks Dewi. It is certainly a start mate. I can clean it up from here. I appreciate your time doing this. What program did you use?

Everything I tried was much poorer quality than that.

    Cheers

I used a mixture of Paint Shop Pro, CorelDraw, then I started trying to clean it up in Illustrator, but I’m not the worlds greatest in it, so hence the not so good outcome 😕 Hope it helps a little though.

I always thought a wombat looked like a type of monkey but with huge eyes, just goes to show, I don’t know me mammals :lol1:

    Cheers, Dewi

    Shane,
I realise that I am long overdue your work deadline on the wombat thing, but I just had to get it right for myself.

I found the wombat on a stone at the following australian website
    http://ausinternet.com/ettamogah/colour.htm
Check it out, it might be of use in the future.

I then put the bitmap they had through corel trace and saved the result as an ai file.

    What do you think?
    regards
    Andy

Thanks very much Andy, I really do appreciate your time and effort with this.

I submitted my artwork the other day and start the job next wednesday. He didn’t go with any wombat in the finish 😥

    Cheers mate
