welcome – you could try illustrator and a driver for your plotter

i keep meaning to have a few vans for sale cos some of the vans i have to letter are only compatible with a scrap yard – i hope you have thought your project through cos the customer will want it lettered FOC in the sale.

    Hi,

We work within Illustrator but we are very big on the design side of things as we do graphic design and print. We have wanted to cut from Illustrator using drivers for our Graphtec but we cannot seem to get this working. We ended up using Signlab but feel it is a waste of money as we do no design in it whatso ever, purely cutting!!

My advice would be if you can get the cut facility working for illustrator then do so!! It will save you time and money and you can work in layers also.
