Hi I know that one has to print in reverse and then back with white laminate but how exactly does one do this, is it just normal vinyl applied by hand or is it special white laminate vinyl? and I suppose one would need a laminator?

Any suggestions on a entry laminator on the cheap?

    Cheers

    Normal white (print) vinyl.

Cheap laminators up to 1600mm can be had on a well know auction site or via various suppliers direct for around £700.

Well, I say laminator – really a set of powered rollers but they do work brilliantly for the money once you get the technique right.

you can also laminate by hand on a bench wet or dry if length of print isnt too long

I only suggested print vinyl as you’ll have it anyway if printing clear and usually cheaper than ‘normal’ vinyl. Can use anything you have to be honest but better to match the two layers with similar materials.
