Here’s a job that was done today. It’s in the Edinburgh International Conference Centre. This ‘chill out’ room was being done by an interior designer (hence the turf instead of carpet!!!…. yes REAL turf indoors!) for The Discovery Network. Installed today…… going back to remove on Sunday! 😮 Hoping to get some more pics of the entire room complete.

    Marcella

Meant to say … each panel is 900 x 900mm. All done in Metamark Metafrost

    thanks!
lynn it took under 4 hours to do the 16 windows, so it wasn’t too bad. The difficulty was making sure the tiny little details on the logo and the tiny trademark were going on ok!
Not sure how long it will take to come off again …. probably just as long! 😕

I hope you recorded that in your accident book Marcella. 😮

By the way – did you perform a risk assessment before sending hubby out to remove the vinyl. Your risk assessment should have anticipated the damage to his fingers and you could have put procedures in place to prevent this from happening. Procedures such as………..er………..let me think……er………not fitting the vinyl in the first place 😕

well, he’s reporting for breach of H&S regulations ….. I didn’t provide protective gloves for the job! 😀
I did offer to rub in some antiseptic cream tho ….. but he said no! Think he wants to be tough! Either that or he was scared it would sting!!! 😉

looks great marcella… well done! sorry to see the hands taking a pounding… did you not use a blade scraper? you can get big 8inch wide ones fixed at an angle on a 12 inch metal handle. would have had those off in jig time. 😕

also, ive been product testing a product the last 3 months or more… would have had you doing all that in no time at all! 😀
easy for me to say now eh? 😳

Robert ….. they’re not my hands!!!!!!! :lol1: John did have a blade scraper but once the vinyl had enough of an edge to grip, he pulled the rest off.
    So what’s this product then…….???????
