  • will white marks from applying vinyl go away soon?

I’ve dry applied vinyl to the inside of a car window but there are lots of what look like little white marks between the vinyl and glass. Most of the marks go if I push the letters individually with my finger but I still have a few left.

Am I doing something wrong and what are these?

Will they go in a few days once the vinyl has took to the glass?

    Thanks
    Nathan

If you apply wet you won’t get the marks.

The marks you get with dry application sometimes go after a while.

So just to confirm I’m not doing anything wrong as everybody will get these marks if applying dry on glass?

    Thanks

Basically what you are seeing is what I would call silvering which is little bubbles of air trapped under the vinyl, if they are not too big you can pop them with the tip of a scalpel or pin and press them out, generally they are just where the adhesive hasnt yet keyed to the glass and will disappear in a short time. Applying some heat may help ( lukewarm heat )

No not always depends on the media, also try running a heat gun over it real quick I think this will solve your issues..
