Brian, you could go to the cadlink site and see if your dongle drives need updating, may also say if it will work on XP as well mate.

Brian is it a USB dongle, if so it may be a HASP dongle and over the last two years new PC main boards stopped having these HASP drivers as part of the chipsets on the board.

If it ain’t a USB dongle then just ignore what I said 😀

    Brian,

I had all sorts of agro with my (Flexi) HASP dongle after XP service pack 2 was downloaded (fine on earlier XP versions).

Think I had to download more xp drivers.

Try http://www.aladdin.com/support/hasp.aspx. Guess one of the enduser HASP downloads. Think from memory thats what I had to do – perhaps worth a try.

Doesn’t sound so much like a dongle issue as you would normally only get 8 moves and then it pops up with some rubbish about the security device. Unfortunately that probably makes it more complicated, hopefully Rod will see your post, maybe stick it on the cadlink board as well.

Hi Brian, unfortunately Nicola was correct in her earlier post, only Signlab versions 5 and later will work with Win XP>. Contact Brian Hays at Impact and he will be able to sort you out an upgrade.

    cheers anyway

weird how it seems to work tho right up untill you want to cut with it …it even saves work from it
