    will a graphtec FC2100 work with an iMac G3?

    Hi there, this might be a long shot but I’ve acquired a G3 iMac and was wondering if my FC21006oa is compatible with it as the Mac only has USB sockets. Is there such a thing as a SCSI – USB adapter ?

    Neil, where does SCSI come into it?

    The iMac will have USB and I would have thought the cutter would have an RS232.

    We ran cutters from iMacs happily for many years (and wish we still could) using a Keyspan USB/serial adaptor.

    ha ha! thanks you know now that I look at it, it isnt a SCSI – I dont even know why I even assumed it was – D’oh!

    did a lot of these older machines have a mac connector as well as serial and lpt.
