Wierd Phone Calls
Anyone getting calls from strange numbers? I got a missed call on my mobile today. Waited until I got home to dial back as my number is withheld at home and also all my calls are free. Turns out I got some international operator recording telling me the number is invalid. The country code was Egypt. Wondered if it was the callback scam where the call is £1.00 a minute or something. Anyone else getting these calls?

Ive had calls from 070 ranged numbers always to my mobile, and they are premium rate call backs. Phone rings once and then displays a missed call, probably in the hope I call back……………

Cheryl had this on her phone. When she answered it was dead. After that every time she topped up a while later her balance was zero, hence she’s now changed her phone and number.
