  • why wont cadet pick up the registration marks please?

This morning our cadet plus will not pick up the registration marks, generated by the printer, when we come to cut after laminating.

Any thoughts anyone, is my machine just p155ed off with the hot weather or am I being stupid and have missed something?

George, I’m hoping to avoid re-ripping them as there are 8 different prints all about 3.2m long – the material & time waste would be enormous

If the printer can not see through the laminate can you not redraw the marks on top? or am I being stupid.

Phil, you can manually read the crop marks using base point method its in the manual i have never tried it it looks straight forward enough though

No Nick, these are only liquid laminate on the printed areas- so the reg marks are exactly as printed.

BTW didn’t get time to do your prints yesterday, will try & squeeze them in later – one or two issues to sort first.

Is the lens dirty? Can’t remember if the cadet has a cover on, my HP does and there’s spare ones in the door.

I’m not sure the cadet has these though as I never got any spare ones with my cadet.

No problem on the print mate, get yourself sorted first.
