  • why is my image dissapearing when importing a jpeg?

I have imported a jpeg to signlab but when it comes to cutting my work signlab doesn’t recognise the object is there.

Do I need to convert it to something else?

You can’t cut jpegs Adele they are images. You need vectors to cut(lines and shapes)If it’s a simple image you need to convert it to vectors.Sorry don’t know how s/lab works but that’s your problem(i mean that’s why it wont cut!!!)

signlab will trace the Jpeg for you, but the results will depend on the complexity of the image, if you dont have the video demos, have a look on cadlinks site. you will find quite a few tutorials covering the subject

    Thanks for that.

It is a very straightforward image…it’s just a black hammer…no other colours.

File/acquire image/scan and trace is probably the quickest option for a simple image and this covers the last few versions of SL
