why does the grid on screen keep disappearing?
Hi every/anyone, just found this board & it looks to be a great idea to me.
My question is-does anyone use the Signlab software? if so, here’s my problem-I seem to keep losing my grid for no reason, one day it’s there, next it’s gone. The only thing I’ve discovered so far is that it seems to appear/disappear with the changing of the sign blank size, haven’t found a pattern to it but it will show on some & not others.Anyone had this error & found the answer to it?

the grid maybe set to say 1 inch by 1 inch squares. so if you have small sign blank you see it coz your up close. but if the sign blank is huge, the grid disappears.

signlab is quite a popular prog and used by quite a lot on here.
Does the grid actually disappear, or if you zoom in can you see it?
The grid will not show if set at a small size and the blank is large, if you see what I mean?

Thanks for the replies, I’m away for a mo to check out a ‘zoom in’ ‘cos I have not tried that yet-I’ll keep ya’s posted & thanks for the welcome.JJ.

O.K. problem sorted, thanks again to all-grid was set to 11mm & I’d never bothered to change it ( I don’t always use the grid) soon as I upped the size it was fine.
