why cant i use my plotter with any programes?
Hello all…
Just bought a new Graphtec CE 5000-60 and Ive installed it on my PC. I cant get it to cut with flexisign or vinyl master pro.
When i go into the set up of each program there’s no option for this cutter and theres no usb option either. Obviously the programs were installed before this cutter was even made.
So how do i get the updates so i can cut from my programs?

dont know how to upgrade flexi, but I would have thought you can get the drivers for the graphtec from their website?
If flexi lists other graphtec, try the one thats the closest it will probably workPeter

Not sure about Flexi, but in Signlab the normal Graphtec driver will not work. There is a dedicated usb driver.
What version of Flexi do you have? where did you buy it? maybe they can advise you.
Or speak to Graphtec themselves they will surely be able to help as they are also distributors of Flexi.

Can only get it to work with illustrator cs2 and cutting master2 which at the moment i can manage with.
Would really like to know how to update vinyl master pro as it looks quite good. I’m new to this and vmp looks pretty easy.
When u go into set up options of vinyl master pro theres no graphtec ce 5000 and even if u choose unlisted plotter or another graphtec model, on the next screen it asks whether its serial or parrallel but its usb…..
The update must be from vmp, ill do more digging…..
