    Hi all

What/who in your opinion has the best application tape for a general sign making, who supplies and for how much.

We’ve been using metamark r series – hi tack £48 for a 610 wide roll – and wonder if I can get better for less.

    Thanks

“conform” in my opinion is the best without going overboard.
    1220 mm slit in half = £60 / £65 from vinyl corp.

This tape is the “lay flat type”, in other words if you are storing the graphics for a few days you usually need to fold the ends over to the back to stop tape lifting any small letters up but this one you don’t.

It’s really a personal thing. I find some unusable as they are not properly pressure sensitive. If you pull out a few metres and one bit in the middle touches your vinyl – it’s stuck, and the rest of it ends up being squeeged on as a creased up mess.

That is one reason i want a laminator especially for 1220 mm wide tape.
