who supplies curtain side-vinyl?

I remember you mentioning curtain side vinyl with a higher tack than ordinary banner vinyl.I want to obtain some for a few banners I’m doing for a school in the hope it stops the urchins peeling the graphics a little. Thas is if they don’t slash it to death like the last one. 🙄
Anyway who supplies?
What Brands / series?Cheers
Tim.

If your customer is having problems with peeling of the vinyl, then using truck vinyl is going to get to expensive. Out of the two available, Avery is more difficult to remove once it is ‘cured’ but the cost of this vinyl far outweighs ordinary banner vinyl. I think your solution is to either apply a paint mask (design dependent) and roller your text/image in screen ink.
Alternatively get them digitally printed.
This won’t stop the slashing, but if this is a problem can’t you use a different, harder substrate?

Thanks Lamby
Cost is main issue.. anyway they prob will be wrecked in 6 months so will use normal banner vinyl.
Cheers

Hi Tim

£15 a metre !!!!!!! What width?
The APA stuff is £4.50.(610mm)I know there may be some differences technically speaking but isn’t that like very expensive.
I’d be interested to hear what peoples’ experiences of these two materials are. I’ve just quoted a curtain sider and would like some opinions on each.
