I have been using Europoint for years for Oracle and foam board etc with very few problems. But since they have been bought out by Robert Horne things are not the same. I Have now been waiting a week for a sheet of foam.
I have other sources for the foam and Dibond which I will be using from now on but I would like to stick with Oracle for the vinyl.
Why are suppliers now so useless. I Phoned Westward plastics for a 10 x 5 sheet of foam and they never had any. You would think they would have big stocks of the most popular stuff.

I have to agree Martin, my last 5 deliveries have all been wrong and prices on the invoices are wrong and inconsistant.
I will be buying my board from my other suppliers now.

Would be interested to see who else supplies Oracle 🙄

    Hi Guys,

Martin 0 — Please let the appropriate branch manager or internal contact know . the saw operator can be identified and advised. Most manufacturers are struggling to get Resin to manufacture foam, one we spoke to last week had an order book for 4 weeks and resin to make 2 weeks of stock , this is part of whats driving prices up.

Martin — Whats your account name ? have you registered on the members section and filled out the details asked for by RHG, all those prices should be loaded now and infact some have just been reduced. Only those who have filled out the forms have been loaded as its in the members area and stops confusion over who is a member or not.

Vinyl Corp dont buy directly from Orafol.

We dont want to help guys and if you have done the above please let me know and i will sort out for you.

    Regards

I am not registerd on here for Robert Horne as I checked before and because I have dealt with them for so long, the prices I already get are the same as offered on here.

Just to give an update on this, I ordered 2 off 10 x 5 sheets of foam cut to 16 pieces of 3 x 2 on Monday and I finally had them collected Friday myself as they tried to deliver then at my shop at 5.40 in the morning. When I got them instead of 5mm as I Have ordered tons of times before and as the order went through as 5mm, I ended up with 16 sheets cut as ordered but they were 2MM instead of 5mm.

Another thing that really Pi**** me off is that when you order cut sheets they seem to lay them out on the bench as 1 cut sheet and pack them up as an 8 x 4 as if it was still joined together so when you stand it up in the van they all fall down and scratch them up.

    Martin,

I would persevere with Robert Horne Group. It might take a little bit of work but i have nothing but praise for the way the Glasgow depot is run.

As Cameron says, pinpoint the problem and highlight to the correct managers. It`s vital they know so they can help.

    Good luck.

Alright all you funny guys LOL you know i meant we DO want to help, it really is work in progress and while there is absolutely no excuse for getting orders wrong by letting the relevant Operations manager know at least you can be sure the person responsable will be advised and if its been cut incorrectly the saw operator will soon know about it.
Martin — While we wont be the cheapest on everything what we do aim to offer is a more competative across the range price deal that a buying group of the size UKSB is now should get, clearly it needs to commercially viable but across the board my hope is your prices will be cheaper and with your feedback we can do our best to constantly improve, of course the more you buy the more buying power you have too, we plan to do UKSB special offers which will only go out to those that have registerd to as we dont want to do unsolicited mailshots.
Just to confirm, we are only loading the prices of those that register as its the only way of knowing for sure they are UKSB members , this is agreed by Rob. The new and improved price list is with him and am working on some more changes to the appearace so its easier to read.

Lyn — Thanks for the PM if you can edit the we "Dont" to we "Do" that would be great.

I have had a few over the last few months or year, and I also hate the way they pack the cut sheets but for me it’s getting rid of and storing all the extra packaging 👿

I will say however my dealings with RHG have been good, one or 2 small issues but one call and all was sorted very quickly without fuss.
