I was watching her do them, they were done with the zig [or zag!] pens and the image had been drawn and then projected on to the wall and traced……..

    😀

    Very smart indeed,

one question, how did you stick the vinyl to the wall? Or is it a very smooth wall?

I had some problems with vinyl sticking to a wall. 😕

    Hi Benno
The vinyl sticks ok…….the paint is Dulux Diamond White Matt which gives quite a hard finish [but is very expensive]…….the last time we did the walls there were loads of dots and they can get picked off, although not many did [or letters]

    Cheers

very nice mr boyle… top notch as usual. i remember the way you had them before this, both looked good… i still like those metal sections wrapping the stone walls/pillars.

i did something similar to one of your areas in the pictures. my sisters theatre school has white walls everywhere, people got disorientated trying to leave, ie. find exit… so i used a large over sized "exit" bending around a piler like you have with the word "shop" although i used a dark grey.

thanks for taking the time to post your work. 😀

Marcella, having read that Andrew had done work for them before I just assumed that he had posted the last job and it was while i was absent from the boards. Thanks for clearing that up.

I think I might be right in saying that ‘doocot’ is scottish for dovecote.
As for why it’s all lower case ……….. probably only the designers know the answer to that!
