Just need a little advice on overlaminate. We have a client who needs 10 A1 Foamex drywipe boards making. I have seen that you can buy specialist drywipe laminate but have loads of gloss on stock. What is the difference between the two and will gloss laminate do the job?

Although a standard laminate will work, it doesn’t clean anywhere near as easy. It’s not long before it’s covered in stains! I know the actual dry wipe laminate is quite expensive, cheapest I’ve found is by dorotape

Cheers for the advice Luke, last thing I need is them to be returned in a month due to stains.

Definately the proper stuff. Made a few for the workshop when we started and they were rubbish. You get 2 versions, clear or white. If you print for example a chart the cover it with clear be really careful of finger prints, they look terrible 🙁 The ones we use are made by Aslan.

We went with a clear wipeboard laminate from colourbyte and it looks spot on. Did a sample board and the pens worked well on it. Already sold the idea to another client on the back of having it on stock too. Does anyone have any idea we’re I could buy the self adhesive pen holders from, just to give them that extra finish?

You might be able to but the pens, eraser and holder as a set from a local stationery company.

    Something like this?
