white backing on self cling
Posted by Andrew Boyle on July 24, 2007 at 11:04 amHi
Can you laminate the back of a printed digital self cling with a white vinyl and still keep the clinginess !?
Cheers

I have had problems with it curling up, guess you have to get the right mix of vinyl’s.

Andrew, I take it printing direct to white is not an option.
I have done quite a lot using ordinary vinyl and then laminating with a background colour. If they are put through the laminator then I found there were sometimes problems with the edges curling like Nick has said but if I did them by hand on the bench then they were fine. Maybe something to do with the tension on the laminator.
