    Hi all,
Here is a simple question that i have always wondered about, I do a lot of supply only graphics by mail order and have always wondered which way round its best to roll up a graphic, application paper out or application paper in ?? I have never had any comeback on the mail order stuff but am always worried that they arrive “barreled”. I use the “conform” application paper by the way.
Do any of you have a preference when sending stuff out via the mail?

Out! always out! Keeps the app tape touching the silicon paper and stops wrinkles.
Maybe a good idea for graphics send out to wrap them around an empty roll.

Yep! Always out if sending out

Stops the wrinkles as rising says
When you think about it the vinyl has been stretched on the roll around the backing paper albeit by microns. Rolling inwards does the opposite.

Having said that, if it’s local and I’m fixing pretty soonish then I roll inwards just to keep artwork clean.

Put it in a tubular bag that comes with vinyl rolls or box!

Never roll inwards, same with applied graphics to PVC banners, always out, out, out 🙂

Always out … usually in the boxes that the vinyls come in… If a small job roll it tight and cut down an old centre tube.
