    Hi all,
travelling through Hereford yesterday and it took me absolutley ages to get from one side of the small town to the other, just wondered if all of our small towns need better traffic management or just the outlying forgotton ones?

I live in Hereford … thats where we are based. Traffic around here is a nightmare …. just trying to get from one side of town to the other can sometimes take an hour at rush hour times ……. absolute nightmare and the council does not seem to think we have much of a problem 👿 Hereford has been refused a bypass!! Wait another month or two till it floods and then the North and South sides of Hereford get completely cut off from one another as we only have one main bridge going over the river and all the old lanes etc going around the back routes also get flooded!!

Im not really complaining as its always been like this so I guess Im kind of used to it now and always give myself plenty of time to get from one place to the other!!

😀 Carrie from Happy Hereford :lol1:

    Hi Carrie,
where were you yesterday, I was going to call in & say hello, but there was nobody at the unit.
Maybe another time,we will probably have to go back again knowing the garage concerned.

Awww sorry Phil…… Our little girl was poorly so I got called to collect her from nursery (1 bug after the other since going there) which then kept me at home for the rest of the day and Steve was in and out fitting. It was one of those days yesterday 🙄

We dont get many peeps actually popping in …. nearly all our sales enquiries come through via the phone or email. So we dont really have to worry about losing out on sales as such. The only peeps that usually pop in are fellow signmakers passing by like yourself, sales reps and deliveries.

Well, next time you are passing feel free to pop in …. hopefully we will be there next time 😀

    3000 posts Carrie!! (hot)

Barnstaple has bad congestion… I hate it, takes ages but their is a new bridge being built and when that opens I should just drive over the bridge and in!

great.. but couple years to wait I suspect atm

    Dave,
Barnstaple has got to be a good contender, not only is the traffic system bad but it takes an age to reach from the M5 anyway.

Never had too much problem in Exeter though.

Kirkby Stephen Cumbria. They fitted traffic lights a few years back, now it takes up to 2 minutes to get through 🙂
Last year some mini roundabouts were put in as well, should have seen the confusion as we all tried to remember how to use them.

I don’t think we have any were near the traffic up here as you have down south but I used to live in Windermere and getting back home on a Saturday lunch time after working some overtime used to be bad, que’s back past staveley (4mls) with all the tourist traffic coming into the lakes.

I’m off now to Kirkby to get stuck in a 3 landrover traffic jam.

Try Glasgow, bus drivers and taxi drivers just run the roads like there own…… it’s even worse when a bus breaks down and it’s not in the bus lane….. chaos….. other buses think that you should wait for the broken down bus to get toed away before you can move (:) (:)
