• Which Colour-Print??

Posted by John Wilson on January 18, 2008 at 11:22 am

OK I’ve noticed that most companies are now selling colour print vinyl for garment pressing but all the companies have there own brand but under the same name of colour print

Anyone got any preferences since some are thicker and more rubbery than others?

    Cheers

Oh and I’m using a Versacamm

I had the Metamark rep in who was singing its praises. Always easy to get samples from them so may be worth a call.

i have tried just about all of them and not impressed. print quality is fine but looks and feels like you stuck a vinyl sticker on the shirt, no better than that.
it has its uses dye sub is the way but not going to get involved.

Ok i’ve tried the stuff from Grafityp and it’s a little too thick for larger images

Also tried the stuff from Victory Designs and it’s not bad but tends to curl when cut, curls a little too quick sometimes 🙁

    Cheers Ian

Just seems like I’ll have to keep a few different makes and pick what’s best for what jobs 🙄
