Where do you get pop up banner material from?

I went to order some today and was quite supprised on how much a roll was. My husband normally orders vinyl etc,

    £230 or a 30m roll, 910 wide

Can i ask where you get yours from and the cost, please

I just bought some and for the life of me forget how much it cost! 🙄
    i am guessing here, its about £90 – £120 i WILL check though…

ive been buying from paper-graphics in Glasgow, excellent media and prints / looks great speak to David.

however, i have just bought my first roll of "i think" Dtec" roll-up material.
it is white front and back, thicker than previous stuff, scratch resistant and doesn’t curl. the "no curling" aspect is a special feature of it. it also has a foil core sheet which means it has block out qualities too… we never laminate, and told this is more robust when it comes to scratches.
ill speak with Andrew tomorrow and ask if he has test printed it yet as i am keen to see how that goes.
the new stuff is sold by Robert Horne, they came into see me last week with dtec and i ordered some to give it a go… ill get full detail tomorrow including prices.

ill also compare prices to papergrappics as i am unsure off hand. either media is excellent though.

i wasnt aware smiths did one robert, cheers mate, will check prices etc and compare.

over the winter when things slow down a bit i plan a complete overhaul of our office and system. right the way back to pricing structure, suppliers the lot. so its good to hear everyone elses comments in this section of the site.

dave, "soflat"… the dtec stuff im sure is called stay flat but might be wrong. anyway, the dtec roll-up banner material i think is excellent quality and will ask andrew tomorrow on print quality on it.

    Thanks Guys for the replys.

@ Robert L … DTEC rings a bell, we might have had that in the past.

@ Robert W. Some good links there. I think sometimes we just get lazy when looking around for products, we just use our regular supplier instead of shopping around.

@ Dave are "pop up" and "Rollers" different?

I currently use so flat from Pyramid display. Best thing is I can collect same day if required.

Print quality is excellent, material is great. IIRC I pay about £87 for 30m.

David.. does it come in a hard card tube with a wooden end that takes ages to sort out and wrapped in paper with two plastic black pieces at each end?

Yes. They staple the bloody end caps on and are a swine to get off.

Similar with the 410gsm banner material I ordered, which side by side with Metamarks 500gsm there’s no noticeable difference other than price. 😕

Are you going to tell me I am paying too much 😮 914x30m @ £85.00

Yes – pop-ups are the 3 x 3 type systems which come in a wheeled trolley to create a
curved wall. You need to use thicker material for these – typically 290 or 350gsm. The
cassette type ones are roller banners, and use thinner material, typically 165 or
190gsm. You have probably been quoted for the pop-up material which is more expensive.
