Where’s Marcella?????
It’s been well over a fortnight and no sign of her. What’s happened?
My favoutie theory is that she and John have gone native and are living in a shack on the beach drinking rum and smoking stuff that didn’t come in a Benson and Hedges packet.

Got home yesterday around 4pm having left our hotel in Jamaica at 1pm on Monday ……. 😮 😮 😮 😮 After a long flight home, an even longer wait at gatwick for a connecting flight and no sleep I was in bed at 8pm last night :sleep:the patchy tan is already fading ………
Oh and John – the chocolate over there ………. Hershey bars 😕 crappy amercian chocolate, not the good stuff!

Dave – we would never have got as far as customs in london if we’d had anything to hide …….. in Montego Bay every person has every piece of luggage opened and checked before they leave. A bit embarassing when they’re rifling through your underwear 😳

We had a fantastic time thanks Marcella. I’ve almost got the photos sorted, then I’ll post a link of the happy snaps if anyone is interested.
We learnt a long time ago to bring back something that needs to be declared when we come back into Oz. Almost everyone says ‘no’ to the declaration, and they stand in these long queues waiting to go thru customs. When we say ‘yes’ (we bought back sheeps wool from a farm this time, something that our quarrantine dept are nervous about) they put you into this small queue (we were the only ones in it), they checked the wool, gve us the nod, and let us thru. Everyone else was still in the ‘no’ queue as we walked out the gates. Works every time. 😛

We were in the sea swimming one morning a day or two after arriving and a wee black face popped up out of the water and said ‘ Hey mon, you wanna smoke?’ John just shook his head and said no thanks and the guy said ‘no problem mon, just passing through’ and swam off!!! :lol1: :lol1: He had hash in a waterproof container so he could sell in the sea!!!!!!! Unbelieveable.
The weather here today is cold and bl00dy wet!!!!! 😕 that’s the worst part of coming home! 🙁
