    Check Dell out online
XP pretty much is over now however if your planning to run a COM port based plotter on it, then u need additional USB/Com converter (if it will work) and any software like SignLab that has a dongle must be USB based and not parallel.
Drivers for plotters maybe a problem on vista.

Good luck with your search for XP, as I say if Dell doesn’t have it as an option when you customise the options, then you wont find them forsale new.

    Thanks Dave

Its just the fact that all I’ve heard are problems after problems with vista regarding running software/hardware etc.

Bought a new Summa 1260 wide plotter got a desktop built with xp installed and everything runs great, touch wood.

Just need a new laptop for both home use and some work stuff I can do at home, as long as it allows me to use corel x3 and signlab.

Thanks again for taking the time to reply
