  • where can i get ‘dry wipe’ board vinyl from ?

Posted by Hugh Potter on July 14, 2005 at 7:32 am

hey all, i’m making an existing customer a dry wipe board, 4x3ft pvc foamboard,

i initially rang my local supplier who said they have it, only to find out the next day, that they havent and that their suplier cant get it or wont do it 😥

then i ring vinyl corp who then tell me that they dont do it, but they suggest using anti graffiti on a white film, but this adds another 50% to materials !

does anyone know where i can get a couple of metres from ? of should i just buy a ready made board from nobo and stick his name on it ??!!

    thanks. Hugh

    Hi Hugh

We had some from Victory Design about a year ago. We had to ask for it as it wasn’t in their catalogue.

    quote scozzie:

Scozzie, Spandex and Australian Graphic Supplies do a ‘dry erase’ here. You can’t use white vinyl because it has not got a high enough gloss, and the normal vinyl is more porous (making it suitable for solvent printing)

You can get either white or Clear here, but don’t know if it is an avery product or Oracal product, so I am not sure Drag On if this info would be much help to you over there, sorry

    Cheers
