    Thanks Garrie.

I already have some software but its the setting or drivers i am particulary looking for as i would like to use my sign pro or corel draw12 instead of the artcut that is supplied with it, only reason is everytime i want to use a vetcor picture its a nightmare to get the file to want to turn out correct to cut.
As said earlier i only do lots of smaller decals as my main game is sublimation printing.

Hi Gareth i have a similar problem regarding the drivers for a creation Machine, i would recommend getting i touch with Allan flynn of flynn signs, he imports them and should be able to fix you up.

In addition it would help to know what software you plan to use to repalce artcut, Just a word of warning signlab can be a complete *$%£"* to get working with a creation, I am still having problems weeks after getting a 900 machine from Allan, (still not got a suitable driver despite extensive efforts)

If you manage to get one that WORKS, let me know and I’ll do the same

    Regards
    Andy

Now, obviously I am bias on this, but I see so many postings popping up for advice on getting your Creation P-Cuts working, but I must ask a very simple question…

What has happened to the reseller who sold you the machine???

You paid for your plotter in good faith, your dealer has a responsibility to get you up and running. My customers wouldn’t let me get away with it (and I dont think I would stay in business very long if I tried)

Just because you are buying an inexpensive product it does not do away with the resellers obligations, and if the the dealer wont play ball shop around!

    hello all,
as a reseller i like to think we give a good service, and taking phone calls after normal working hours and weekends, including giving out my home phone number,
i would like to think does not add up to going missing, and any of my customers are welcome to call me anytime, within reason,
    regards

I would also like too add a point – I have had no problems with the p-cut machines they do the job they are desinged for – I would simply like to use some of my other software as i find my sign cut etc easier to use than artcut so was looking for a driver, i think you will find the only ones who have had major problems are the ones that have bought the imports and cannot easily get support!

Allan was a great bloke to deal with and even gave me his home number – so for those looking for a p-cut i would contact Allen he is a star!

    Hi Alan

obviously I wasn’t refering to you! in fact you get a very good reviews on these boards.

However it is obvious from the flurry postings that there are many unscrupulous dealers who are simply dumping plotters on their customers.

i agree with you on this Phil… as many will have read from my back posts.
I am far from a fan of eBay or the budget machines sold around the net "without" sufficient aftersales back-up.
my opinion is, if your serious about getting into this game then fork out a few hundred quid more and buy from a reputable source.

Alan Flynn of Flynn signs has already been in contact with me with regards to his concerns with some machines that seem to be getting bad reviews here due to non-existing after sales backup from dodgy eBay sellers.
i can confirm that Flynn Signs are in no way connected to the machines that are being sold on eBay "without" backup service.
Flynn Signs have been around for as long as i can remember. i have also looked at buying several products from them over the years & consider them a reputable source for vinyl cutters and the like…

if anyone should need to speak to allan he can be contacted on: 01992 630318
