    Hi peter,
i want to Trace the rears of a toyota pick up and a mitsubishi pick up to get the exact cut outline for the chevrons.

I don’t want to buy a kit, i want to make it myself, is there an easier way of doing it, or am i going about it the right way?

    Thanks

    Liam

    Peter,
i never thought about that! Does the paper come off ok afterwards in one piece though? So you can keep it as a record of the shape you need to make?

    thanks

yes it does Liam just like removing after application, or you could use backing paper to make template or any old vinyl you have.

    Thanks Lynn,
That sounds like a good idea, i can tack up some backing paper and make the template that way. I’m going in the bins now trying to salvage some!

Tape up what you want to trace and use the side of a black wax crayon

rubbed over the swage lines to define the details
