    Well my new cutter arrived today, a CE5000-60, just set it up on the stand, what quality it feels compared to my chinky, is there anything i need to know before i set it up, and also where do i get the plugin so i can use it with corelX3.

    you should have a disk with the programs on, else you can download from graphtecs site.

    i use the windows driver rather than the plug in.

    Yes – the plug in was on the Graphtec disc that came with my 5000 – it should show up within the menu that pops up on your screen after inserting the disc. You can check whether it’s installed by clicking on the Launcher icon in Corel and looking for "Cut/Plot"

    make sure you use the Graphtec lead that comes with the plotter, or if you need a longer one, get a lead made up by Graphtec UK – shop bought leads don’t work very well if at all 🙂
