  • Where can I find Long Fiberglass Sign

Posted by Stuart Miller on February 8, 2018 at 10:05 am

    Long Fiberglass signs 2 pieces.
A few years ago I updated a 5 metre long fiberglass fascia sign as pictured.
This was made in 2 halves which were butted together.
I now need to find a replacement sign in a similar style for a pub sign.
All the fiberglass sign producers seem to have signs only up to 3 metres long all in one piece.

    Any body and idea?
    cheers

Search for sign master (not the machinery supplier)

Seems unless you want to organise a bespoke mould, costing a fortune, we are stuck nowadays with a maximum size of 3000mm from Glas plas and only 2450 from signmaster

If it’s a rectangular sign similar to the one in the photo, couldn’t you use a sign frame?

Comes in 6m lengths, will give a similar effect, except with multiple panels.

Do you know if you can sign fram with the picture frame shaped edges, to match an old pub sign?
    As that would do yes.

    Not sure.

Nova trim have profiles on their website – http://www.nova-aluminium.com/nova-trim/

There are other suppliers, such as Panatrim – http://www.universal-aluminium.co.uk/wp … ochure.pdf

There are probably others but I can’t think of any.

Thanks Martin, funny how you overlook things you use in other applications. I even had a sample of that in my briefcase when visited the client.. 🙂
Stockframe on a folded tray panel would be very similar.
