    Hi
Just reading through some of the older posts and happened upon the "Which Applicator to use" – posted by Robert (no suprises there) – The one which interests me most is the FELT applicator, which sounds great but I have yet to see one -(You must understand that we are working out in the sticks, North Wales, and are still waiting for Colour TV broadcasts to reach us).
If you can point me in the right direction It would be greatly appreciated.

    Col

Sorry mate. 😆 😆 your right though.
My plan was to open January the 10th. But it didn’t due to suppliers dragging their heels. Next came the set-up of the shop via the third party I have running it & then I have had the flu, the biggest one is loading the pages the amount of vinyl links, it is mind boggling 😡 😮 .. So what now. Well this comes in the form of something silly yet important. “Delivery charges”

Shopping carts are set-up to run “one” shop. When you check out you have a delivery charge and if you spend over a certain amount, delivery is free. All very well.
But we have at the moment 5 suppliers to the shop. 5 shops within one as it were.
What if you buy one product from one supplier carry on and buy another product from another, and another product one from another supplier.
Proceed to checkout & you get free delivery because of how much you spent. Now that’s fair enough but with each supplier you didn’t buy over the specified amount. So you actually have 3 courier charges but you get it free because of your total. (All due to how the programming of shopping carts work) those 3 charges are then charged to myself. But the customer pays nothing. 😮 😮 Good for the customer, bad for me.

Anyway, I have sorted a way to get round this but it has cost me a fair bit of time and i’m not totally happy with it. But for now it will have to run as I have it.
The shop may open between next Wednesday and the following Monday for certain. It will open, but not officially. I have to open the doors to find any glitches I may encounter through folk ordering, that’s if any problems arrise. Having continually found one after another I think it pays to be careful or the whole thing may become a headache for myself. I believe in the saying “you only get one chance to make a first impression” so with that in mind I want to be careful and not too ambitious.
So now im rambling again.. in a nutshell the shop is going to open with a limited amount of products from each supplier for a week or so.. if all is well, we will add new products “daily”. Once everything is loaded and running without any glitches I will be announcing the opening in the sign mags. Probably the next ones out along side the sign UK.

We’ll use the shop straight away. And don’t worry, we won’t sue if we end up having to pay an extra tenner here and there for couriers!!
