When should printed vinyl be laminated?
Posted by Leslie Anderson on February 12, 2022 at 2:20 pmHi everyone!
another newbie question. π³
how do you determine when printed vinyl should be laminated?
thanks for any advice. β₯

Hi Leslie, almost always in my opinion. Only correx siteboards, pvc banner & pull up displays leave my workshop unlaminated. Do charge accordingly of course, anyone asking for the cheaper unlaminted print will only bring you headaches further down the line when itβs scratched or faded. A premium product to match your premium service.

Always laminate on vehicles but everything else we offer as an add-on which costs more.

Hi Leslie, we laminate everything that’s been stuck to a board. We gang our jobs together and feel it’s more hassle than it’s worth when we’ve a roll with 30 or 40m of print to start stopping and starting for the sake of a few quid.

we laminate everything other than short life/temporary stuff.
