You need a 4WD Audi. No problems then. 😀

The weekends sprinkling of snow has all but disappeared, but it’s grey and cold here. 😀

i was working in glasgow all day today, fitting a 45 ft long sign, built up letters and LED’s. all done about 25-30 ft up in a cherrypicker…. not windy but ice cold and sleet and snow falling. finished around 6.30pm tonight and ive never been so bloody cold. well my hands were and my ears/face. :lol1:

had to keep my gloves off most time to operate cherry picker and drills, lift screws etc and i had a hood but gets in way operating the machine. then hard rain fell and my head was soaked, then on came the sleet and snow…

its times like this you just love your job isnt it! 😕 :lol1:

Plus still 2 feet of dirty nasty snow with a hard crust on top left from the blizzard.
    3-6" more expected by Friday.

You should ask Shane about their weather over the last few days.
That’s provided he can write whilst under water. On the other hand he could move here same temp but much less rain.

    😀

Wondering how Jason went with the wild storms in Melbourne over the weekend.

Rain here is stuffing my workload, as most is outdoors at the moment 🙁

Melbourne got hit pretty hard. But we were lucky living in a suburb called Sunshine we didn’t get much damage. Got a few water leaks etc but nothing major. Lost power for a bit over the weekend as well. Lucky it was a long weekend it gave everyone an extra day to play catch up.

I guess Queensland has more water problems then us at the moment.

I’m guessing the creek thru your property is flowing pretty fast by now mike?

Our "cricks" will be overflowing soon too.
Temps are supposed to be high 50s low 60s which will melt all this dirty nasty snow.
Then the rain arrives, then flooding.
I doubt there could ever be another St Patty’s Day flood, thanks to the Army Corps of Engineering.
At least I have two outdoor jobs lined up this week.
I don’t like doing two big jobs in two days but I need the cha-ching.

Will you be needing the canoe Jill?

yes Shane The creek has been borderline flooded for the last 10 days. Sounds like a fast moving freight train as it flows down the rapids, we cross just at the top of the rapids about 60cm deep and pushes the car sideways as we go across, really gets the heart rate up.
Glad to hear Jason survived ok.
    Cheers Mike 😀
