I was wondering what every ones specialty was.

I know we all say we can do everything and our websites kinda reflect this but I know that my specialty is not wrapping vehicles – well not yet at least !

Our specialty would be well designed high quality fascias and cladding

    Whats yours?

    Colin

My speciality is COMMONSENSE 🙄 Something a lot of sign companies sadly lack. Just check out some of the "How can I" questions on these very boards. 😳

    Service.

We do nothing that cannot be done by most of you out there.
The only way we can distinguish ourselves in the eyes of our customers is by the level of service that we give.

I think what I was looking for was the one thing in terms of product that you really excel at – we should all give good customer service and have integrity not so sure if all have common sense 😀

yeah that’s kinda what i thought you were getting at Colin mate…

i think its difficult for me because we don’t actually specialise in any type of product or service as such… i do honestly think that what we are known for locally is we do give is a top quality product regardless. everything from design, materials used, life expectancy and installation/fitting. so in a way, at least locally anyway, we are known for this over all other sign firms around us… if someone wants something cheap and cheerful i recon we loose some custom to local sign firms, but when something needing it done right then we win hands down.

we do offer allot of bespoke safety signage where off the shelf signage just doesn’t work for the customer. again this comes down to designing, materials used etc you can charge well for this because it isnt just a bit of clip-art graphic onto a bit of foamex/HIP’s like 9/10 safety signs are made from.

then again, i could say same for vehicle graphics etc…

Communication & actually turning up for appointments to survey / quote.

Won a few lately purely on this basis & questioning the customer for their needs.

Some customers have no idea of their options.

Example a flat panel front fixed, frame or tray etc.

On occasions I have found just talking & providing a reasonable price wins the job.

    Hi,

Our main business has always come from exhibition Graphics but due to our hobby Race Cars have become quite a big part of it over the past couple of years

If I were to pick a speciality I guess like Jill it would be signwriting and gold leaf, honours boards etc.
I also do a little airbrushing so anything involving paint or traditional stuff.
