    From the way the red lettering is pulling up on the bottom, it looks like they might have used screen off old Dad’s chicken coop door.

    what size is it George, it is possible to adjust the lpi on a gerber to give large dots, but I think there is a limit.

    George, it is hard to see properly on this machine but are you sure its not just a halftone image?

    do it in coral, shade a crcle convert to bitmap and half tone it

    attempted the method you said Peter with some success untill you want to rip it the file size for some reason is 2 gig thats for a piece 2500mm long by 630mm wide so i am looking for an alternative i remember way back seeing some halftone vinyl already printed/silk screened ready yo buy off the shelf, anyone help or seen such an animal?

    It’s rob, just googled their logo and it is a gradient sphere. Looks like the banner material is giving the illusion of spots.

    Rob had one of there vans in yesterday the cirle is not the problem its the side stripes that go diagonally across the van that are halftone printed vinyl

    here are some better pics of the effect …as you see the bottom left corner is dark blue and the top looks white but its not its the same blue the effect of spaced halftone makes it look gradient filled
