Yep thats right, all our recycled plastic bottles get shipped of to china (where most of our cloths are made) and stripped (sometimes with child labour) and shredded to make nice new fleeces for a fiver!

The whole re-cycling environmental friendly culture we are currently ensnared in is complete and utter bullshit.

My local council (who last year were voted "council of the year" 🙄 ) provide us with three rubbish bins – but in reality empty them all into the same containers and send them off for landfill.

Meanwhile, we continue to turn a blind eye and buy goods at low cost from places like China that exploit their population and use child labour.

Personally – I don’t give a damn about "environmentally friendly" products – but I am concerned about the exploitation that exists between the buyers and the producers. The big supermarket chains and the pressures for low prices put upon our own farming industry are a perfect example of the exploitation that exists. Unfortunately, we do not appear to have any honest politicians that will represent the exploited in this country. All are determined to gain votes at any cost 🙄
