    Hi,

I use Wasatch RIP and Mimaki JV33 printer the RIP shows how much a a print uses, so printing 1sqM test prints i found that costs range from £2.14 to £5.12 depending on media etc.

However to try and best answer your question my 5 year vinyl has an ink cost of £2.56 per sq M so i guess your 3 euro is about there.

    Kind regards

    Russell.

I am sure I have read somewhere that 15ml per square meter is the average amount of ink used which works out for me similar to the prices quoted.

Whatever you were told, then double it,
sales people err on the good side, but hey, you need to cost it for yourself, it does depend on how much you are buying the ink for?
