I’m having trouble importing from corel to Signlab 7. Every time I import the image it loses lots of quality. I’ve tried changing the image to Bitmap before I export from corel & I’ve tried just exporting as it is but get a similar low colour, low quality image. Its mainly on gradient filled letters. pictures are alright but the letters go from vibrant colours to dull

Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong?

    Thanks
    Stuart

You’re probably not doing anything at all wrong. The resolution in Signlab is very poor in comparison to Corel. I work in Signlab but if I’m showing a customer anything or sending a screenshot I export it into Corel and do it from there as the drawings look superior in Corel.

Look at the drawing in wireframe (Signlab) if it is a vector drawing then it is as good as it will get, as Marcella said Signlabs display is poor compared to Corels

If you are exporting bitmaps from corel you will get a better result by exporting as RGB and not CMYK.
