    whats the best vinyl to go over rivets. Im guessing I will need cast vinyl.

    Matt,

    you do not necessarily need cast, mac 9800 or macfleet will do the job, as will a lot of good quality calendered. Oraccal 751 is a cast but not to expensive. Allow a fair bit of time to finish off round each rivet. I usally just use my digits, but there are rivet brushes available, or even a soft rubber/nylon tube can be utilised to settle the vinyl round the head, I always give them a blast with the heat gun as well.

    Thanks Peter, It basic stuff really, just text, but stretched over the whole side of a Luton shutter van, I have to do the shutters too. Should be fun. I had planned to use a cast, but I will just use my hexis suptac then, should be ok. thanks for your help.
